<div>This walk was based on a <a href="http://walks.walkingworld.com/walk/Publow---Compton-Dando---Lord-s-Wood---Publow.aspx">Walking World walk </a> down the Chew valley from Publow to Woolard and Compton Dando and back</div> <div>The morning brought crystal clear blue skies, bracing but still. We found our way to Compton Dando but got a bit off route on the way back. A lovely walk. The Alder trees were particularly striking with their pink male catkins.
