This walk was based on a Walking World walk down the Chew valley from Publow to Woolard and Compton
Dando and back
The morning brought crystal clear blue skies, bracing but still. We found our way
to Compton Dando but got a bit off route on the way back. A lovely walk. The Alder
trees were particularly striking with their pink male catkins. Good lunch at the
Compton Inn.
