An autumnal afternoon walk with a lovely  if confusing view from the lookout by the mock castle. View south with the green fields opposite Sea Mills, the valley at Paradise Bottom and masts on Dundry beyond, Avon Gorge hidden between houses at Stoke Bishop and Leigh Woods. Niki kindly shared their coffee when we got up Jacobs Ladder overlooking the Beech Cathedral . Disappointing lack of  fungii.  Visited the grave of Scipio Africanus in St Marys Church. Back just before it started to spit.

Our route was slightly shorter as we cut across the openspace at the start.
