A book concerned with the dubious way many scientists sell their wares. The subtitle is "Exposing fraud, bias, negligence and hype in science".
It is a well written, interesting and rather worthy book. I have some reservations about recommending it since it is highly relevant to what I do, but perhaps of less interest to others. If we did choose it, then I would suggest we widen the remit in a typical NABG way. For example, we could consider the way science progresses, perhaps touching on the philospohy of science and it progress (cf. Kuhn).
