As in the previous 6 years now, we will use the online voting system.
The process is as follows:
- Each of us can suggest up to two Theme/Anchors. If suggesting two topics, one will be fiction and one non-fiction.
- Each suggestion should include the detail of the anchor, eg for a book its title, authors(s), date of publication and page length.
- A week before the event, you will each be sent a personalised link to the choosing website where you can:
- Enter/edit the details of you suggestion (new)
- Vote when voting is opened on the data of the choosing
- Any problems or if you would rather I or James enter your suggestions, email an admin person (kit.wallace@gmail.com, ritchie_jc@hotmail.com)
- The list of suggestion will be available a couple of days before the Choosing : viewing doesnt need your personal id.
- On the day, voting will be opened at 7:40 especially for voting if you are unable to attend. Voting is online using your personal link (ask for a reminder) If voting on a phone, its easier if you switch to landscape mode. During the meeting there will be short but persuasive presentations. You can change your mind until voting closes.
- When all have voted, voting will close and D.V. the results will be available. We are looking for 11 events . Any ties will have to be resolved at the time
- If there is time, hosts and dates for the chosen events can be decided during the meeting.
