First agricultural revolution started about 10,000 – 8,000 years ago Domestication of animals and crops have led to using a few species, animal and plant breeding and major impacts on our environment Requirement to feed the world (Maslow hierarchy of needs) Population growing to a plateau of around 12 billion by 2080 What are we going to do? What should we do?
